Educated at the Sussex and Kent Institute of Nursing, the
Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and the UK Joint Services Command and
Staff College, Barry Alexander is a veteran of 20 years service in the
British Army. His poetry is published in the 2011 anthology ‘Heroes –
100 Poems From The New Generation of War Poets’ (Ebury Press). ‘On
Afghanistan’s Plains’ is Barry’s first book.
