About the Author
Barry Neil Alexander

Educated at the Sussex and Kent Institute of Nursing, the
Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and the UK Joint Services Command and
Staff College, Barry Alexander is a veteran of 20 years service in the
British Army. His poetry is published in the 2011 anthology 'Heroes -
100 Poems From The New Generation of War Poets' (Ebury Press). 'On
Afghanistan's Plains' is Barry's first book.
